Anoop Desai is not dead…AND his song is good

I know, I know. I was just like you. After seeing Anoop become a beaten down shell of himself on “American Idol” two (!!) years ago, I was certain that he would drop out of the music game and travel the country with his a cappella group making songs that only glee clubs could love. But then I happened on his new song and had to share. With all three of you. Because it’s good!

Granted, it’s a little moody, and I would re-think the North Carolina sweatshirt from 1996, but I kind of feel like a proud father. My little Anoop is making it out in the world, and he’s NOT just a punchline, Seacrest! He’s a man! A man with feelings and a laptop!!!

I dig.

I want one

Ok, so I feel like I’ve been well behaved, and I try to finish all of my vegetables at dinner. Can I get one of these?

I promise I won’t make the stupid faces this kid does when he plays it. I’ll only make cool faces. But at least this young man now has the chance to get a girlfriend or two. Well played, college boy. Well played.

Stop Motion Awesomeness

So I just found out about this singer/songwriter Oren Lavie. From this song alone, I can tell that I love him. In a purely appropriate and manly way.

Obvs I’m a little late to the party as only 13 MILLLION people have viewed this already, but I don’t care. This video pwns. I could not look away. Just try. Try!

Best. Musical Video. Ever. Made.

It’s too bad that OK Go’s music isn’t as amazing as their video prowess. Because this is ridiculous.

Best Music Video of This Hour – “Let Love Rule” Justice Remix

I thought this was pretty original. Great song by Lenny Kravitz with spectacularly cheesy Justice remix. Nicely played.
